The customer is a global integrated security and operations-technology company with more than 26,000 employees across six countries. It has evolved from traditional security services into an "ops-tech" provider that designs, builds, and operates smart operations across security, facilities management, and customer service, underpinned by proprietary platforms including its own AI orchestration command center. Its Australian deployment is licensed for approximately 6,000 users.

The one problem they didn't build for.

This is one of the most technically sophisticated operators in the security industry, a company that builds its own software rather than buying it. So when its workforce scheduling tools started to fail, it had nothing to do with sophistication or investment.
